Unrest Project
FINDING LOVE IN ALL THE PLACES THAT ACHE
Unrest is ultimately about love and connection.
It was started in 2020 by Anney, a victim of sexual violence.
She wanted to share all the messy feelings she was having in hopes of opening a dialogue and offering comfort and encouragement to others going through similar struggles.
As she notes, "Unrest will, inherently, always be a little sad and angry. After all, sadness is a powerful tool to create, anger is a good tip to survive and injustice is injustice".
Unrest is inspired specifically by three individuals (as well as some others) that stood by Anney as she found her way out of heartbreak.
10% of all card sales go toward Toronto Rape Crisis Centre Multicultural Women Against Rape. Additionally, 10% of sales of each individual card go toward the three individuals' choice of organization or charity.
All the cards are designed and printed in Canada. They are 100% cotton made from reclaimed fibers with letterpress typography.
