Known Supply

The founders of KNOWN SUPPLY got an early start in social entrepreneurship, and in many ways have helped define what it looks like in modern business practice.

While still in college in 2007, Travis Hartanov and Kohl Crecelius co-founded Krochet Kids International. It was a social enterprise and lifestyle brand working to empower marginalized populations in impoverished communities around the world.

After they accumulated ten years of experience managing their social enterprise operations and collaborating with incredible brands like Vans, Nordstrom, Volcom, Whole Foods, Travis and Kohl envisioned a whole new kind of company.

What they saw was an organization that would be inclusive to all those who wanted to have social good woven into their operations but didn’t have the knowledge or resources to do so.

The two men had built a brand on introducing their customers to the person who made the product by way of a signature accompanying each piece.  Now it was time to share their immense knowledge and insight.

KNOWN SUPPLY is much more than an apparel brand. It's a movement and a platform for social good.

KS apparel is available to those who value people and want to see their stories brought back to the forefront of the conversation.  They are disheartened by what fast fashion is doing to our planet and the people who make our clothes.  They don’t like what they see and are so happy that KNOWN SUPPLY has decided to do something about it.

Here's some of what they focus on:

Connection:  Every product is hand-signed by the person who made it.

Collaboration & Partnering:  With like-minded customers and companies who want to learn, grow and further support the KS ethos.

Fair Wages:  Always.

Sustainability:  Continuing to introduce more sustainable fibres and fabrics to offerings.
