DONNI.
COMFORTABLE. CLASSIC. COOL.
“I want to create a brand that feels like your friend."
~ Alyssa Wasko
As DONNI. has evolved from scarves to ready-to-wear, comfort remains at the forefront of our minds. Each piece is designed to be comfortable, classic, and cool, built to stand the test of time.
They create clothing for every woman, regardless of her stage in life. DONNI. takes a multigenerational approach to each collection, intending that their clothing will be passed on for years.
Founder Alyssa Wasko's former career at Chanel reflects her attention to detail and her unrelenting commitment to quality standards for each garment. These high standards, combined with DONNI.’s emphasis on comfort and unique detailing, make each piece stand out.
Every single piece is made in Los Angeles. DONNI. is intentional about keeping all business operations local, utilizing locally milled or sourced fabrics and constructing each piece locally. Most vendors, factories, cutting houses, knitting mills, marker and grader companies, and pattern makers are either women-run or women-owned.
As part of an ongoing initiative towards environmentally conscious garment production, DONNI. are excited to release select eco-friendly fabrics with each new collection. They plan to continue increasing the offering of these materials each season. All eco-friendly products are tagged with a "sustainable" icon.
Some of their eco-friendly fabrics include:
- Eco-fleece, a recycled cotton blend
- Butter, made from sustainable tencel
- Twill, also made from tencel
- Recycled jersey, made from recycled cotton
Since April 2021, DONNI. planted a tree for every order. All hangtags are made from premium 100% recycled cardstock, and protective polybags are also made from 100% recycled materials.
They're proud to have offset tens of thousands of pounds of CO2 through these efforts. They will continue to do everything possible to positively impact people and the planet through their business operations.
Each season, DONNI. partners with a different nonprofit to donate a portion of sales. They also ensure that they only partner with fair-wage companies and actively seek partnerships with women-owned businesses. It is a part of the brand's ethos to genuinely ensure that communities are left better than how they were found.
DONNI. contributes meaningfully to their local Los Angeles and broader community, and gives back whenever possible.
