What is TENCEL™ Lyocell? How Is It Used in Clothing?

TENCEL™ Lyocell in clothing has been used to replicate the smooth, soft texture of silk but with long-lasting durability. Contrary to popular belief, it’s not really a synthetic fabric. At Velvet Heart, they use materials derived from sustainable wood pulp to produce bio-cellulose fibers that can be spun and sewn into your favourite TENCEL™ Lyocell dress, shirt, or top. This is why we love them!
