Water is Life

Co-founders Haan, Eric and Hugo believe everyone in the world should have access to clean water and hygiene. Their motto is “Water is Life” as it’s the company’s mission to raise awareness of the water crisis, and ideally, to eventually eradicate it by allotting 20% of their profits to fund water wells in developing countries.

The numbers are staggering and deeply disturbing:

  • 785 million people are living without access to safe water

  • 1 million people die each year from water, sanitation and hygiene-related diseases

  • Every 2 minutes a child dies from a water-borne disease

  • 200 million hours are spent by women and girls to collect water

We know that access to clean water improves health conditions, increases school enrollment and fosters economic prosperity for communities in need.

Water truly is life. It’s what connects us, no matter race, gender or religion. We’re all inextricably connected by water.

To date 11 million litres have been generated through 17 wells benefiting over 3.7 million people.
